In college, I had only seen attractions, flings, affairs and even break-ups, all which came naturally. Good or bad, emotional or physical or superficial, they were all personal feelings. Such calculative moves, such canny and crafty people who would us a relationship as a stepping stone to reach the top was something bizarre for me.
